since I don't have cats *grin*. I only end up avoiding the mufflers which, in theory, should provide some back pressure and reduce exhaust velocity, but I doubt it is measureable. Once I put high-flow cats back on, and the switches avoid the cats AND the mufflers, there may be some small amount of increased power with the cutouts. It adds a nice sound, that Z's just don't normally sound like. And not a cheap exhaust sound like a ricer, but a mean, throaty sound... SS
